This week Toffee decided he’d get a bit broody & started gathering nest material. I must admit, Toffee is the first male rabbit I have had that has done this. So I am guessing this is quite unusual behaviour. Also the usual time of year to be thinking like this is around springtime.  So I have no idea what he is thinking but I do remember he has done this before.

Once Toffee had enough nest material he just sat there with it in his mouth until eventually he spat it all out. He never attempted to build a nest.  I think I will have to do some research into males collecting nest material.  Anyone else come across this?
