The bunnies’ entertain themselves very well whilst outdoors, especially when they’re let out of their outdoor pen. The photo above shows Peanut in his element checking out Apollo’s pen but Katie is not impressed as she looks on. It’s all stimulation of their natural behaviours.

Inside the pens,  they all have a barrel of good quality soil to enjoy.

To be honest the hope was that the barrels would stop this kind of pen destruction but typically it wasn’t to be.  Apparently, you can’t beat digging up grass roots.  Isn’t that right Thumper….

I think Thumper needs telling that you dig out of pens not in!

As for Peanut he was more frustrated than entertained in trying to grab the blowing grass. The more stimulation you can give your bunnies the better. It keeps them active, happy and breaks the boredom.
