Now that Thumper is the oldest bunny in the shed, 10 years this month, it was time he had a bit of proper comfort.  Thumper has inherited Toffee’s mattress and he absolutely loves it as you can see in the photo above. He’s not the only one as you can see in the photo below, Katie too enjoys the comfort.

The above photo shows what Thumper used to call comfort, and it was comfy as I used to bulk up the bed so he had a good amount of padding underneath. The mattress wins though in the comfort stakes as you can see below especially when he customised his box for maximum sun affect.

There always has to be a but though, and the but is that Thumper with help from Katie has ruined, well not completely, this lovely comfy mattress.

Ok it isn’t that bad folks but bad enough I have had to confiscate it for now until I can get it repaired. Why did he do it? Well, it’s because his favourite Dunelm box collapsed last weekend and I gave him a new box but it wasn’t customised to his liking. Therefore to show me he is annoyed he caused the destruction. You might not believe it but Thumper is a bunny of strict order and routine and he does not like anything changing. He is very particular about the way his pen is put back together after it’s clean. He has to inspect it and his Aunty C will testify that if you haven’t done it right or put things in the right place you will be told and his displeasure shown. So this is what Thumper and Katie are now missing out on:
