Toffee shedding his summer coat.

Hi, I’m Toffee & my mum said I should do this post on moulting.  This is because I have a high maintenance coat compared to the rest of my bunny family. My fur is very much like an Angoras, quite woolly. Fortunately, my feet, tail & head are what you might call normal fur.  This means I don’t get horrible matts forming on my feet. My coat has to be brushed at least once a week otherwise it starts to tangle. When I am moulting I have to be brushed nearly everyday & I hate it. I put up with it though because I get a nice treat at the end.
Anyway, the point of this post is to say that a new page called Moulting has been added to our website.  I hope you find it useful.

One last thing please remember to brush us bunnies with the long thick coats.  It really is uncomfortable for us to live with matts & eventually it will affect our health.
