Chucky as we have named her, has decided these last few weeks that she is liking our garden very much & is visiting often.  She has been exploring more & more, & decided it was time to suss out these weird looking creatures. As you can see she is intently staring at Katie & Katie is doing the same back. I am not sure the bunnies have ever seen a hen before, certainly not in their domain.  Also I am not sure if Chucky has ever seen a domestic rabbit up close either. She was very vocal about it.

Chucky also brought her boyfriend round & they both spent quite some time checking out the bunnies. I must admit I have never seen an all black cockerel before so not only were the bunnies staring but I was too. The bunnies were a bit on edge with these visitors but they settled after a while.

I closed the door after Chucky left because I didn’t want her investigating the entire rabbit shed. If you’ve ever had to clean up chicken poo you’ll know why I didn’t want that everywhere.  She is a determined girl though & spent a good 5 minutes tapping on the glass wanting to get back inside.  Eventually they both left.
