It’s with a broken heart that we lost our beloved Toffee on Thursday. Last week he had another stroke and seemed to have got over it pretty well, it had left him weaker again on one side. This week he seemed to deteriorate especially with his mobility, there were a few other things going on too. I took him to the vets and it was explained  he had suffered more brain damage from the stroke and that was making him act weird and affecting his mobility. I knew when I took him what the outcome was going to be and I’ve known for a while he hadn’t long left. Gorgeous Toffee died with my arms around him and even as he was taking his last few breaths managed to give me a few licks. He’s reunited with his Patch now. He’ll be so terribly missed.
