In the last 12 months Tilly has been getting a little stiff on her back legs. The vet thinks it’s probably arthritis. In Autumn I noticed she was struggling even more so she had to go on painkillers which she now loves! She is on a relatively high dose of painkillers so when she began to struggle a little as the cold hit I wasn’t keen on upping her painkillers anymore, but I had to sort something for her. The answer was a heat mat. Tilly now has a heat mat permanently plugged in & it is tucked into some pillow cases. This has worked a treat as she gets to stay nice & snug keeping her muscles relaxed & warm. Continue reading Toastie Tilly!
